Job summary

Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support the Cost Estimating Group and Construction Execution Branch. Develop cost estimates for new construction, interior and exterior alterations, restorations, additions and repairs to the Capitol Complex.

The role requires expertise in estimate development through design stages, overseeing cost estimates, and using SUCCESS Estimator/RIB or Cost-OS.

Qualifications

• Experience developing cost estimates for new construction, restorations, repairs and alterations.
• Oversee and lead cost-estimating efforts to support budgets and schedules.
• Serve as COR or equivalent for support contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for new construction, interior and exterior alterations, restorations, additions and repairs to Capitol Complex structures.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure estimates meet project budgets and projections.
• Provide advisory support and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
