AECOM is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to turn hurricane damage assessments into sound repair decisions for federal facilities in Kauai, Hawaii. You will develop estimates, test quantities, and pricing against site conditions, explaining cost effects of access, logistics, schedule, and uncertainty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of developing construction cost estimates for complex facility or infrastructure projects.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation of conceptual, detailed, and independent cost estimates for facility and infrastructure repairs.
• Develop quantity takeoffs, labor and equipment assumptions, unit pricing, and subcontractor pricing analyses.
• Assess scope, schedule, access, logistics, escalation, and contingency impacts on project cost.
• Review drawings, field reports, repair narratives, and contractor proposals for cost completeness.
• Document estimate bases, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and changes between estimate versions.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction managers, schedulers, and subcontractors to validate scope and pricing.
