Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of cost management and analysis.
• Experience with historical data and statistics for cost studies.
• Strong communication to interpret scope impacts for trends.
• Ability to guide junior Cost Engineers with varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, maintains and monitors project budgets, change management, cost monitoring, cost variance analysis, quantity and craft labor reporting (QURR), and other periodic cost reports.
• Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
• Prepares and ensures accuracy of the project cashflow and revenue earnings; assists with PwC semi yearly project audit.
• Ensures accuracy in the cost coding of budgets and actuals.
• Performs budgets allocation in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures. Identifies trends and supports the change control program. Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.
• Develops innovative new techniques to meet specific needs and responds flexibly to urgent project requests.
