Job summary

Decima International is hiring a Senior Cost Engineer for Change Management and Forecasting. The role focuses on practical cost control, change analysis, and forward-looking exposure across large capital programs, including data centers.

On-site work is required in Corsicana or Sweetwater, TX. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in cost engineering, deep cost forecasting skills, and experience with SAP, Oracle, EcoSys, Unifier, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in construction cost engineering and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience evaluating changes and maintaining forecasts on large capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of change, trend, contingency management and EAC development.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, EcoSys, Unifier, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and forecast changes, including PCOs, change orders, and trends.
• Review scope, labor, materials, and supporting documentation for cost accuracy.
• Develop independent cost assessments and recommendations for negotiations.
• Track changes from identification through forecast incorporation.
• Prepare management reports and elevate exposure and forecast movements.
• Coordinate with project teams and contracts to resolve issues.
