Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Controller to manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting for medium to large-scale projects. You will develop, maintain, and analyze cost data, assist in estimating, and support decision making.

Responsibilities include maintaining cost control systems, reviewing proposals, and ensuring SOX/compliance where applicable. Strong communication and consultancy experience are valued as part of a global team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium to large projects.
• Construction consultancy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cost control system to track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing cost estimates.
• Provide cost information to support decision making and forecast cash flow.
• Review fee proposals/bids and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cost reports and forecast updates.
• Assist in developing project schedules and cost reporting tools.
• Build and manipulate large datasets in spreadsheets for reporting.
• Extract and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure audit trail.
