Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Cost Control Manager to oversee budgets for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. You will lead onsite cost teams, drive cost control discipline, and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and finance to forecast and maintain project costs.

The role requires a deep understanding of construction contracts, change management, and financial systems, with a track record of delivering cost efficiencies across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting or relevant professional experience.
• 10+ years in cost control, construction, or project management with senior/leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in construction contracts, change management, and budget control.
• Proficiency in Workday, e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor onsite cost team and ensure adherence to cost control processes.
• Create and validate budgets for large-scale construction projects and monitor performance.
• Review contracts and change orders; manage approvals per authority framework.
• Analyze costs, forecast cash flow, and report variances to leadership.
• Manage vendor/subcontractor contracts and assess buyout savings.
• Communicate financial performance to stakeholders and support reporting.
