Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead construction budgets from inception to completion, validating change orders and coordinating with management, vendors, and finance. The ideal candidate will drive accurate cost forecasting, contract compliance, and proactive cost management across projects.

The role requires strong collaboration, advanced knowledge of construction documents, and proficiency with Workday, e-Builder, Procore, and ACC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting.
• Advanced knowledge in construction contract documents and change management.
• Proficiency in financial and project management software (Workday, e-Builder, Procore, ACC).
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Seven or more years of experience in construction or project management.

Responsibilities

• Examine contract documents for compliance with contracts and laws.
• Evaluate change orders and monitor buyout savings.
• Review monthly pay applications and align values with contracts.
• Initiate purchase orders and manage invoices per terms.
• Provide monthly cash flow projections to capital teams.
• Assess change order events and substantiate positions.
• Maintain a change order log and guide internal approvals.
