Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead project cost management, oversee budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and trends. This role provides financial visibility to client and PMC leadership and ensures cost performance aligns with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of cost control experience on major capital projects.
• Experience managing budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting methodologies, interfaces, and performance analysis.
• Experience on large industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project cost management activities, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost performance reporting.
• Monitor project performance against approved budgets, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion (EAC), cash flow, and funding forecasts.
• Support change management by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment.
• Provide cost analysis, forecasting insights, and performance reporting to client and PMC leadership.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost collection, reporting, and forecasting.
• Lead and develop the cost control team while promoting cost management best practices.
