Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead project cost management activities and oversee budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and trends. The role provides financial visibility to client and PMC leadership and ensures cost performance aligns with project objectives.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in cost control on major capital projects, with strong expertise in EAC, forecasting, and reporting, and experience in regulated or life

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of cost control, cost management, forecasting, or project controls experience on major capital projects.
• Proven experience in budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting methodologies, project accounting interfaces, and performance analysis.
• Experience with large industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project cost management activities, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost performance reporting.
• Monitor project performance against approved budgets, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion (EAC), cash flow, and funding forecasts.
• Support change management activities by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment.
• Provide cost analysis, forecasting insights, and performance reporting to client and PMC leadership.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost collection, reporting, and forecasting.
• Lead and develop the cost control team while promoting cost management best practices.
