Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience.
• Experience with revenue recognition in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing costs.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Cost Analyst – Central Massachusetts

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is working with an established manufacturing company in Central Massachusetts seeking a Senior Cost Analyst. This is a hands-on position with exposure to both accounting and operations and the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities over time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing accounting background and enjoy working closely with operational teams in a smaller, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost accounting and analysis for manufacturing operations
• Partner with Operations to understand production activity and related costs
• Support revenue recognition and manufacturing accounting
• Analyze costs, inventory and operating variances
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

Requirements

Compensation: $105K–$140K plus discretionary bonus and excellent benefits. This is an onsite location in Central Massachusetts.
