Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior cost accounting / cost analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory accounting, product costing, overhead, and variance analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prior internal and external audit exposure.
• Experience with Syteline strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional business partnership skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product costs, including direct labor, materials, overhead, and manufacturing variances.
• Manage and analyze inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy of inventory-related financial reporting.
• Prepare cost and operational reporting and provide analysis around key trends and variances.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Monitor actual results against budget/forecast and investigate significant variances.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and other departments on cost analysis and financial initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive improvements to manufacturing-related financial processes.
• Support month-end financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain appropriate internal controls.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across cost accounting, reporting, and financial processes.
• Provide guidance and review support to junior team members as needed.
