Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Denver, CO to own inventory accounting, valuation, and manufacturing financial reporting. The role leads the Cost Accounting team and collaborates with Operations, FP&A, and Finance leadership to ensure timely, accurate results with strong internal controls.

The position focuses on process improvement, ERP transformation, and scalable solutions to strengthen financial integrity and drive enterprise performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of inventory, manufacturing and commodity accounting.
• Strong financial controls and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to lead teams, coach and develop staff.
• Experience with complex ERP environments and process transformation.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accounting, valuation, and related month-end close activities.
• Assess control deficiencies, remediation plans, and implement improvements.
• Partner with Operations, FP&A and Finance leadership to drive performance and risks.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and scalability across the cost accounting function.
