Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Largo, FL is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis for complex manufacturing operations. You will own the SAP standard cost roll, month-end close, and onsite inventory processes while partnering with operations to drive continuous improvement and stronger financial controls.

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing cost accounting, strong SAP experience, and expert Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
2–5 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
CPA or CMA certification a strong plus.
Strong knowledge of SAP, inventory, and cost center accounting.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP, inventory valuation, and SOX.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables); OneStream a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead standard costing, inventory valuation and cost analysis across manufacturing operations.
Manage annual SAP standard cost roll and month-end close activities.
Oversee onsite inventory processes and cycle counting.
Partner with operations to identify cost drivers and drive continuous improvements.
Ensure SOX/compliance and internal control policy adherence.
Provide financial and operational performance data to leadership.
