True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost and financial reporting, focusing on labor absorption rates for pricing, billing, and margin analysis.

The role oversees project accounting, cost variances, and month-end closing to maintain accurate financial records. You will work with ERP systems (Dynamics) and GAAP-based reporting, supporting multiple entities and collaborating with operations to review cost centers, coding, and allocations.

• Strong numerical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update labor absorption rates for cost recovery and pricing.
• Perform project accounting, tracking costs, unbilled revenue, and profitability reporting.
• Reconcile payroll, timekeeping, and billing data to ensure accurate labor costs.
• Support month-end close, including GL reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors and interact with financial stakeholders.
