Job summary

Luminator Technology Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to drive margins and cost visibility.

You will manage standard costing, variances, inventory valuation, month-end close, and internal controls, shaping strategic cost insights across North America. Hybrid work schedule; 5+ years accounting, 3+ years cost accounting, ERP proficiency; CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 3+ years in cost accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred; CPA/CMA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costing and analyze variances across NA operations.
• Prepare cost accounting journal entries and reconciliations; support month-end close.
• Analyze gross margin by product line, region, and site; provide actionable insights.
• Monitor inventory valuation, reserves, obsolescence, and cycle counts.
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and ERP system improvements.
