Verdesian Brand in Cary, NC is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to partner with manufacturing and operations, owning standard costing, inventory and variance analyses, and the month-end close.

You will develop cost models, drive internal controls, analyze KPIs, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and reporting speed. Candidates will have 5+ years in cost or manufacturing accounting and strong GAAP knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in accounting, with at least 3 years in cost/manufacturing accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and month-end close.

Responsabilidades

• Own cost accounting activities for manufacturing and operations.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for products, raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze variances (price, usage, yield, labor, overhead) and advise actions.
• Lead month-end close activities; prepare reconciliations and GL analysis.
• Ensure accurate inventory and COGS transactions per GAAP and policy.
• Coordinate cycle counts and year-end/audit counts; investigate variances.
• Partner with Operations to analyze KPIs, margins, ROI.
• Prepare and present plant/operational financial results and forecasts.
