Job summary

Polyloom, a TenCate company, is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Dayton, Tennessee to support product costing, standard cost maintenance, and monthly close. You will work with the Assistant Controller and cross-functional operations teams to ensure cost accuracy and provide actionable variance analysis.

The role requires manufacturing cost expertise, GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five to seven years of accounting experience preferred, with direct manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment and GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and variance analyses.
• Lead cost accounting activities including product costing and standard cost maintenance.
• Analyze cost drivers, budgets, and provide management with clear findings.
• Support month-end and year-end closes and assist with audits.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor to understand production processes and costs.
