Job summary

Entertimeonline in Cincinnati seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to ensure accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet related to cost accounting. You will partner with Procurement, FP&A, Transportation, and Plant Controllers to improve budget accuracy and operational cost efficiency.

The role involves collecting and analyzing financial data on expenses, capital, and performance to drive budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years cost accounting experience.
• Advanced costing methods and GL knowledge.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze expenses and cost transactions; ensure correct period and GL allocation.
• Perform standard to actual variance analyses for labor and overhead.
• Prepare periodic costing reports across plant activities.
• Manage standard costs for raw materials and finished goods.
• Support pricing with current costing analytics including inbound freight.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain on costing for new products.
