Job summary

Saint-Gobain Performance Polymer Solutions is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead the month-end close, prepare GL entries, and ensure balance sheet integrity. This role supports budgeting, standard cost development, and cross-functional financial analysis within a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years in accounting/cost accounting, ERP proficiency, and CMA/CPA preferences. A hands-on, independent work style is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Master’s degree in Finance/Business is preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and ensure alignment with site deadlines.
• Prepare GL entries and reconciliations; maintain balance sheet integrity.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts.
• Collaborate with Life Sciences NA Finance on DSS practices and training.
• Coordinate physical inventory and cycle count activities.
• Assist with QAD system maintenance and data updates.
