Job summary

Saint-Gobain Life Sciences in Portage, WI seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead month-end close, manage cost accounting and support budgeting. The role focuses on standard costs, GL integrity, and finance processes aligned with GAAP and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on self-starter with 5–10 years in manufacturing finance, strong ERP and QAD experience, and the ability to drive improvements using tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Master’s degree in Finance/Business preferred.
• CMA or CPA certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis required.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close in QAD, prepare consolidation and internal financial reports.
• Support annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts.
• Provide detailed analysis of actual vs. budget spend and capex projects.
• Support new product costing and standard cost roll inputs.
• Coordinate physical inventory and cycle count for site supply chain.
• Assist central team with QAD DSS metrics updates and training.
• Collaborate with Life Sciences NA Finance teams on DSS best practices.
