• Support month-end close activities, including inventory and COGS, variances, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and maintain standard costing data in the ERP.
• Partner with operations leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and capital spending.
• Develop financial models, operational metrics, and reporting to support business decisions and performance.
• Manage inventory analysis, cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory valuation activities.
• Assist with ERP enhancements and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities For Senior Cost Accountant

• Support month-end close activities, including inventory, cost of goods sold, manufacturing variances, capital expenditures, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and maintain accurate standard costing data within the ERP system.
• Partner with operations leadership on budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, capital spending, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop financial models, operational metrics, and reporting to support business decisions and improve performance.
• Manage inventory analysis, cycle count reviews, reconciliations, and inventory valuation activities.
• Assist with ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
