Job Purpose:

Accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

Essential Functions

• Work order review and analysis
• Review of manufacturing costs and variances
• Inventory valuation analysis
• Review and calculation of overhead rates
• ERP System setup
• Integral part of process improvement
• Month-end closing tasks including journal entries, analysis of revenue and cost of sales, accruals, inventory reporting, analysis of reserves and financial results

Additional Responsibilities

• Strong interaction with key Manufacturing and Sales personnel
• Assist management on special projects as required
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures; assist in delivering training to ensure coworkers have necessary skills
• Communicate regularly on all activities to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to company policies to reduce liability
• Perform other assigned projects or work

Physical & Environmental Elements

This is primarily sedentary office work with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature, and no exposure to hazardous substances. Travel may be required. Must be able to communicate clearly and handle physical tasks like lifting reports (less than 30 pounds).
