LHH Recruitment Solutions in California is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for a manufacturing company near Fullerton. The role focuses on standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control. DOE salary range is 120,000–140,000 annually.

You will drive inventory costing, BOM changes, and margin improvement, with emphasis on ERP systems and advanced Excel. This is a full-time on-site position offering exposure to a large corporate environment and strategic cost management.

Qualificações

Senior Cost Accountant needed for manufacturing company located near Fullerton, Ca. Will pay 120-140k DOE.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Analyze Material, Labor, Manufacturing Overhead and Outside Processing Variances in a standard costing system, including root cause analysis.
• Responsible for the manufacturing BOM changes, standard rates, cost rollups, GL accounts and product costing for all new and existing products.
• Monitor inventory accuracy for adherence to inventory controls.
• Analyze gross margin results, correct anomalies, identify trends, and communicate findings.
• Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensures bill of material structures and updates accurately reflect company inventory valuation policy and proper product costing.
• Plans, executes, and reconciles physical inventories.
• Prepares analysis of adjustments inventory activity and transaction reports
• Partners with Procurement/Manufacturing to minimize costs, improve quality and drive margin improvement.
• Direct inventory control and management and perform analysis of variance identified during inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory to maintain inventory costs to budgeted levels.

Requirements:

• Min of 5-7 years of experience.
• Cost and Inventory accounting experience.
• Large company background
• Adv Excel
• Large ERP software exp.
