Bayport Laboratories is seeking a Senior Formulation Chemist to develop and optimize cosmetic products, including color cosmetics, skincare, and hair care. You will formulate from concept, refine existing formulations, perform testing and analysis, and mentor lab technicians.

You will work closely with the R&D Lab Manager to ensure milestones, quality standards, and cGMP/ISO 22716 compliance are met, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support documentation and product proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Biology, or Cosmetic Science.
• Certifications in cosmetic formulation or regulatory compliance are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation principles and regulatory standards.

Responsabilités

• Formulate and reformulate cosmetic products from concept to production-ready formulas.
• Optimize existing formulations for performance, stability, texture, and color payoff.
• Conduct stability, compatibility, and performance testing per established protocols.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to laboratory technicians.
• Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and QA/QC to support documentation and formula proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of R&D projects and lab results.
