Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. in Kansas and Northern Oklahoma is seeking a Corrosion Technician to support external corrosion control activities, coatings and cathodic protection.

The role involves advanced design and maintenance of corrosion control systems, testing, calibration, and field troubleshooting to ensure pipeline integrity. You will install, test, and repair rectifiers and test points, perform soil resistivity surveys, read maps and plats, compile reports, and respond quickly to hazardous conditions

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corrosion control experience
• Experience with pipe coating, basic chemistry, electronics, and metallurgy
• Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, procedures, survey results, plats, atlas pages, rectifier reports and manuals

Responsibilities

• Advanced design and maintenance of corrosion control systems
• Install, test, adjust, and repair rectifiers, anodes and test points
• Troubleshoot and repair interference/foreign contact problems; perform continuity tests and soil resistivity surveys
• Compile and update reports including test readings, maps, job orders and completion reports
