Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a Corrosion Technician to support external corrosion control activities in Kansas and Northern Oklahoma, focusing on coatings and cathodic protection. The role performs advanced maintenance and testing of corrosion control systems, with travel to multiple sites as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in corrosion control, experience with coatings, NDT, and mapping/job documentation, and be able to read maps and diagrams to support DOT and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years related work experience in corrosion control.
• Experience with company and governmental operating/safety procedures.
• Experience with locating lines and One Call System policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced level of support with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of corrosion control systems.
• Non-Destructive Testing on facilities.
• Install, test, adjust, and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and test points.
• Troubleshoot and repair interference/foreign contact problems.
• Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity surveys and other special surveys.
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and/or repair cathodic protection tools and equipment.
• Drive and ensure maintenance is completed on company vehicles.
• Compile and prepare reports and documents including test readings, atlas pages, maps, plats, diagrams, job orders and completion reports, equipment maintenance reports.
• Forecasted versus actual expenses and governmental/regulatory reports.
