ORBIS Inc. seeks a seasoned Corrosion Control Senior Engineering Technician to lead corrosion prevention for Navy ships and related craft. Responsibilities include field inspections, CP system evaluation, coatings assessment, and data reporting to engineering teams.

The role requires five years of corrosion control experience, NACE/AMPP certification, and a secret clearance. CNA oversight and training of junior staff are part of the duties, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Five years of corrosion prevention and control experience on Navy ships.
• Experience with CP systems, coatings inspection, and material selection.
• Experience with VOC compliance per EPA/OSHA.
• Naval program level policy guidance experience.
• NACE/AMPP certification or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct corrosion inspections on hulls, structures, and equipment using NDT methods.
• Evaluate CP systems and maintain cathodic protection.
• Inspect protective coatings and determine repair strategies.
• Advise on corrosion‑resistant materials and design changes.
• Compile and report inspection data and compliance documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with NACE/AMPP, API, and related regulations.
