Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a Corrosion Technician to support overhaul and repair of Navy aircraft carrier and surface ship systems. You will work aboard US Naval vessels in San Diego, providing technical leadership, planning, and hands-on corrosion inspections.

Ideal candidates bring extensive CCAMM/CCIMS knowledge, NBPI or NACE coating qualifications, and a U.S. secret clearance. The role emphasizes Find, Fix, and Train to enable sailors during deployments.

Qualifications

Ten years of inspection, maintenance and repair of tanks, voids, ventilation plenums, trunks and bilges per CCAMM.
Completion of Navy NBPI Coating Inspection Course or NACE Level 1 Basic Course.
Knowledge of NAVSEA 05M1 coating systems and CCIMS documentation.
Three years tank or corrosion inspection experience per CCAMM; US citizenship and secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance for maintenance, logistics, and shipboard operations on HM&E, C4I systems for carriers and surface ships.
Perform preventive maintenance and coating inspections in compliance with CCAMM.
Train Ship's Force equipment operators and maintenance technicians to sustain equipment during deployments.
