Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Corrosion Specialist to support corrosion control programs across large-diameter pipelines. You will provide technical expertise to operations, troubleshoot cathodic protection and coatings, and mentor field personnel while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

The role requires CP2 certification, a technical degree, and extensive corrosion knowledge. A hybrid work model is offered for eligible office-based roles in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 6+ years in related corrosion control roles.
• CP2 certification and knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 are required.
• Experience with corrosion control procedures, chemistry, electricity, and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations management and corrosion personnel.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection and coating systems for pipelines and facilities.
• Identify and mitigate interference issues and assess corrosion control design.
• Lead field testing, training, and liaison with contractors and vendors.
• Manage corrosion prevention standards, data, and regulatory compliance.
