Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Corrosion Specialist to support corrosion control programs across our pipeline network. You will troubleshoot cathodic protection and coating systems and assist field personnel with data collection and tests.

In this role you’ll interact with operations, technical services and contractors, manage corrosion project scopes, and help ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards through documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AMPP (NACE) CP2 Certification.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and related industry standards.
• Experience in corrosion control and related procedures.
• Willingness to travel and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations management and corrosion personnel.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection and coating systems for pipelines and facilities.
• Lead corrosion capital and maintenance project initiation and scoping.
• Design cathodic protection systems and participate in field inspections.
• Maintain corrosion databases and assist with regulatory documentation.
