Job summary

Plains is a leading transportation and midstream provider focused on crude oil. This role focuses on corrosion control program SME, regulatory support, and continuous improvement across North America, with interfaces to PHMSA, RRC, AMPP and others.

The Integrity group partners with multiple assets to maintain compliance and drive performance. The selected candidate will mentor teams, lead RCAs, and ensure sustained program rollout, while collaborating with field staff and other departments to

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years corrosion control experience.
• CP-3 certification required; CP-4 desired.
• Strong leadership qualities and communication skills.
• Knowledge of PHMSA 195.452 and NEB CSA Z662.
• Experience with Corrosion Database PCS.

Responsibilities

• Support corrosion programs to meet regulatory compliance and audits.
• Identify opportunities for program improvement through data-driven analysis.
• Provide PCS database improvements and support field staff.
• Monitor KPIs and communicate improvement actions.
• Lead corrosion-related root cause analyses.
• Mentor colleagues on corrosion data and monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to determine mitigation efforts.
• Participate in industry groups and committees as assigned.
