Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is hiring for a supervisory corrections role within an adult facility. This position assists the Chief of Custody and may supervise shifts, ensuring officers are on duty and maintaining performance records.

You will participate in disciplinary processes, report on daily operations, and support rehabilitation efforts while upholding institutional safety and compliance. A physical exam may be required and a valid driver's license could be preferred.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in the custody of adult criminal offenders in a city, county, state, or federal facility, with one year as a Correctional Lieutenant.
• High school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief of Custody and/or act as shift supervisor in an adult correctional facility.
• Conduct inspections to ensure officers are on duty and performing duties; maintain records.
