Job summary

Washington State Department of Corrections seeks a Registered Nurse 4 to coordinate all nursing care at Clallam Bay Corrections Center. You will lead the nursing service, plan and direct operations, and mentor nursing leaders to support patient care within a correctional setting.

The role requires WA RN licensure or a compact license, 5+ years acute clinical experience with 3+ in management, and BLS certification. Competitive pay and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• WA Registered Nurse licensure or multi-state license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Minimum five years of recent acute clinical experience; three in management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all nursing care for incarcerated individuals at CBCC.
• Organize, plan, and direct the entire nursing service at CBCC.
• Delegate, supervise, and mentor Nursing Supervisors and staff.
• Ensure prescribed treatments and nursing plans are delivered with dignity.

Education

Registered Nurse license (WA) or Multi-State License

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

5+ years acute clinical experience; 3+ in management
