Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for subordinate staff, conduct shift line-up, assign posts, and inspect personnel readiness.
• Conduct investigations and perform searches of persons, places, and objects.
• Complete and maintain time reports, duty rosters, leave schedules, and evaluations.
• Conduct facility and grounds security inspections.
• Monitor posts to ensure alertness, discipline, and proper execution of duties.
• Perform rescue functions including CPR, first aid, and use of firefighting equipment.
• Identify training needs and coordinate delivery of training to staff.
• Account for persons and funds; ensure equipment is operational.
