Aufgaben

• Providing supervision for subordinate staff, conducting shift line-up, making shift assignments, and inspecting all personnel to determine if they are physically and mentally capable of assuming an assigned post.
• Conducting investigations and performing searches of persons, places, and objects.
• Completing, reviewing, and maintaining time reports, duty rosters, leave schedules, performance evaluations, and administrative forms.
• Conducting facility and grounds security inspections.
• Monitoring posts to ascertain that officers are alert, discipline is being maintained, and assignments are carried out properly.
• Performing rescue functions to include CPR, basic first aid, physically removing people from dangerous areas, and using fire-fighting equipment to include fire hoses, extinguishers, and breathing apparatus.
• Identifying training needs and coordinating delivery of training to subordinate staff.
• Accounting for persons and funds; and ensuring that all equipment is operational.
