Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with four years of correctional casework or related supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses interview techniques and assessment instruments to determine risks and needs.
• Reviews offender records to determine progress and classification changes.
• Advises offenders on personal problems, employment, education, and community resources.
• Delivers programs to aid re-entry following release from incarceration.
• Prepares parole summaries and court-ordered investigations when required.
