Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Corporate Services Procurement Advisor to lead enterprise-wide indirect procurement across Corporate Services, IT, and professional services. You will negotiate contracts, optimize supplier performance, and drive measurable value through cost savings and risk mitigation.

The role focuses on building category management, collaborating with executives, and delivering strategic sourcing solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba Sourcing/Contract Management; P2P familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and negotiates company-wide commercial agreements for various scopes of work.
• Drives lowest total cost and cost-savings strategies across the organization.
• Negotiates contracts and reviews opportunities to reduce costs using best-practice tools.
• Applies financial, logistical, commercial, and risk analysis to achieve results.
• Identifies purchasing opportunities through stakeholder collaboration and market research.
• Ensures compliance with corporate procurement policy and procedures.
• Develops category management aligned to procurement strategy and targets.
• Builds subject-matter expertise in managed spend categories.
• Pursues continuous improvement and innovative procurement solutions for cost savings.
• Establishes strong relationships with business partners across units.
