Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead complex sourcing for technology, software, and engineered products. You will negotiate favorable terms, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost, risk, and performance outcomes aligned with business strategy.

You will collaborate with Information Security, Legal, and IT to embed cybersecurity and data protection into sourcing and contracts, while developing category management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.
• Experience negotiating contracts and/or managing the RFP process.
• Experience with Ariba and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and negotiates company-wide commercial agreements for various scopes of work.
• Identifies, drives, and implements procurement approaches to deliver lowest total cost.
• Negotiates contracts and reviews opportunities to reduce costs using best practice tools.
• Understands and applies business tools to attain desired results.
• Develops and establishes category management and ensures targets are met.
