Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer III to join our Corporate Security team in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on protecting personnel, property, and profits through vigilant patrols, surveillance, and incident reporting in a 24/7 environment.

Requirements include a valid SORA Guard Card, a valid Driver's License, and at least 3 years of security experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Availability for AM or PM shifts is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of security experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong communication and verbal/written skills.
• Ability to analyze and apply logic to problems and maintain situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; control entry permissions.
• Report irregularities to prevent losses and damages.
• Complete reports by recording observations and surveillance activity.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to employees and customers.
• Maintain company standards and follow procedures; protect assets.
