Job summary

Atlan is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own Corporate Security. You will protect people, endpoints, networks, SaaS, and data beyond production infrastructure with high autonomy.

The role requires leadership in security architecture, tooling decisions, and automation. You’ll drive compliance readiness and collaborate with IT Operations, Detection & Response, GRC, and Legal to safeguard enterprise risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Security Engineering in enterprise environments.
• Built or matured a corporate security program with tooling and architecture.
• Proficient coder able to prototype tools, detections, and integrations.
• Deep experience with macOS fleet security.
• Hands-on with EDR/XDR, MDM, ZTNA, and identity security at scale.
• Knowledge of SaaS security challenges: shadow IT, token sprawl, CASB/SSPM.
• Independent with high autonomy and risk-based prioritization.
• Excellent communication to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001, SOC 2 or equivalent controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate security controls for Atlan’s corporate environment.
• Evaluate, deploy, and operate the corporate security stack: EDR/XDR, MDM, ZTNA, CASB/SSPM, email security, DLP.
• Define and enforce security baselines and hardening standards across platforms.
• Drive vulnerability management with patching, prioritization, and SLAs.
• Build security automation and internal tooling, including AI-assisted workflows.
• Lead security reviews of SaaS adoptions and IT projects.
• Define safe operation when AI agents act autonomously across corporate systems.
