Job summary

GAF is seeking a Corporate Project Engineer IV to lead large-scale capital projects as the SME for project execution processes and engineering standards. You will influence high-level decisions, manage budgets, and drive strategic planning across the portfolio.

The role requires advanced governance knowledge, years of engineering leadership, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver multi-million-dollar investments on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio.
• Approve major design deviations and provide high-level solutions for roadblocks.
• Lead critical decision-making with expert data analysis and risk identification.
• Ensure projects have defined scope, budget, and conform to execution processes and standards.
• Develop and present business cases for large capital projects.
• Manage project portfolio to prevent delays or budget overruns.
• Drive high-level continuous improvement across the engineering department.
• Lead cross-functional teams through project lifecycles and manage complex scopes.
