Job summary

Good American is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to support legal and business operations across commercial contracts, retail real estate, brand marketing, advertising, intellectual property, licensing, and strategic partnerships. This role will collaborate with executive leadership and outside counsel to manage documentation and approvals.

You will help review, track agreements, organize workflows, and identify matters requiring attorney input while ensuring on-site

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal or legal operations experience.
• Paralegal certificate, associate degree or equivalent education; CA requirements for paralegal work.
• Experience supporting commercial agreements, contract administration, document review, and legal workflow coordination.
• Exposure to retail marketing, licensing, IP, and brand protection preferred.
• Strong document management, organizational, written communication, and deadline-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, track, and coordinate execution of vendor, supplier, consulting, service provider, distribution, marketing, licensing, and partnership agreements.
• Assist with drafts, redlines, renewals, amendments, and terminations using approved templates and attorney direction.
• Identify missing provisions, deadlines, and issues for leadership or outside counsel.
• Maintain a central contract repository and track renewal dates, notices, and obligations.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to move agreements through approval and signature.
• Support branding, advertising, influencer, and content creator agreements and related licenses.
• Organize legal documentation for product launches, retail activations, and brand partnerships.
• Assist with real estate lease documents, renewals, and terminations; maintain calendars.
• Track IP registrations, licensing, and trademark activities and deadlines.
• Coordinate outside counsel engagements and billing; route day-to-day legal questions.
