Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Senior Paralegal to partner with the General Counsel and business leaders on corporate matters, contracts, and risk management. You will independently manage contract workflows, support entity and insurance activities, and help drive efficient legal processes across software licenses, SOWs, NDAs and more.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance commercial objectives with legal risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal, contract administration, or related legal experience.
• Experience with entity management and insurance.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-starter with good judgment balancing commercial objectives and legal risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to improving internal processes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Office environment experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
• Legal Operations experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software, SaaS, and professional services agreements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with General Counsel and business leaders to assess terms, obligations, and risk.
• Manage contract workflows and deadlines per procedures.
• Assist with entity management, insurance, and financing matters.
• Support with partner letters, NDAs, and customer forms.
• Serve as a resource on contract processes for internal stakeholders.
• Support Legal Operations.
• Oversee drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts incl. software licenses and SOWs.
• Maintain contract templates and a library of executed contracts; identify process improvements.
• Provide IP and real estate support; assist with litigation and M&A when needed.
