Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services in Los Angeles seeks a Corporate Associate to advise clients on complex M&A and corporate finance transactions, coordinating deal teams and due diligence.

The role requires 4–6 years of corporate/M&A experience at a law firm, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and active U.S. Bar membership. Compensation includes $250k–$280k DOE plus discretionary bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate/M&A transactional experience at a law firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage deal teams and coordinate complex transactions.
• U.S. Bar in good standing with excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A and corporate finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Manage complex due diligence processes and coordinate associates and paralegals on deal execution.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, structuring, and strategic legal matters.
• Interface with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution.
