Job summary

The Lumber Manufactory is seeking a Corporate IT Manager to own IT end-to-end for a distributed team across Seattle, Philadelphia, and Mississippi. This role will define identity and access management, device fleet management, and vendor relationships, with hands-on involvement and growth opportunities in a fast-growing, venture-backed startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years in IT administration or IT operations, including 2+ years owning corporate IT at a startup or small company.
• Hands-on with identity platforms and MDM solutions; familiarity with security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own corporate IT end to end for a distributed team across Seattle, Philadelphia, and Mississippi.
• Own the device fleet: procurement, provisioning, shipping, tracking, patching, retirement.
• Administer and rationalize our SaaS stack: licensing, access reviews, renewals, spend.
• Own endpoint security and security hygiene: MFA/SSO, patch posture, compliance support.
• Select and manage IT vendors and service providers, including networking and connectivity.
• Build documentation, runbooks, and self-service resources for the growing team.
• Define escalation paths and interfaces with production systems.
• Provide hands-on support during site visits and new-hire setup.
• Plan IT budget and headcount as the company grows, including junior staff.
