Job summary

Crysalis Biosciences, based in Columbus, GA, is seeking an hands-on IT Manager to architect and operate the company’s technology backbone, from servers to security. You’ll own SAP environment, data migrations, and core systems, balancing speed, cost, and risk.

In a startup setting, you’ll build IT from the ground up, lead security initiatives, set roadmaps and budgets, and communicate tradeoffs clearly to leadership while enabling teams with a reliable internal portal and efficient device

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT leadership or related technical leadership roles
• Hands-on SAP administration, support, or implementation
• Proven experience leading data migration projects
• Strong IT security background: network, endpoint, and email security
• Experience managing domains, DNS, and related web/email infrastructure
• Experience building or managing an internal intranet or employee portal

Responsibilities

• Own and support our SAP environment (or lead SAP implementation/rollout).
• Plan and execute data migrations with integrity and minimal downtime.
• Evaluate and manage core business systems as the company scales.
• Design and maintain our security posture: endpoint, network, access controls, incident response.
• Own email security and secure gateways; manage DNS/SSL certificates.
• Build and maintain an internal intranet/portal for resources and communication.
• Set IT roadmap and budget with leadership; determine headcount needs.
• Translate technical risk and opportunities into plain language for stakeholders.
