Are you a seasoned corporate income tax professional looking for a high-impact, remote consulting opportunity? We're seeking a Senior Corporate Income Tax Consultant to support a fast-paced corporate tax team during a critical season of compliance and reporting.

This is a temporary remote position-ideal for an experienced consultant who can hit the ground running and deliver value immediately. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of federal and state income tax compliance, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach to solving complex tax challenges.

What You'll Do:

  Manage all aspects of federal and state income tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings.

  Prepare and review apportionment workpapers and related state tax filings.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate estimated tax payments, monthly cash tax reporting, and tax calendars.

  Conduct tax research and respond to state-specific inquiries and compliance issues.

  Support broader strategic initiatives as needed, including risk mitigation and compliance reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Take ownership of miscellaneous filings and projects that support broader finance and tax team goals.

  
  

What You Bring:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CPA a plus, but not required).

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of corporate income tax experience, ideally with exposure to both public accounting and in-house roles.

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth understanding of federal and multi-state income tax regulations, filings, and tax accounting principles.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets; able to build and manage complex models and workpapers.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision is a bonus.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
