Job summary

BAL is seeking a Senior Associate in corporate immigration to lead client management and supervise a team of attorneys and paralegals. You will drive complex NIV/IV cases, coordinate with partners, and ensure excellent case preparation and submission.

You will represent the firm at client sites, maintain strong relationships, and contribute to attorney policies and practice improvements. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a corporate immigration attorney with NIV/IV experience.
• Proven ability to oversee paralegal work and manage complex caseloads.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken; multilingual is a plus.
• J.D. degree and licensure to practice law in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients in business immigration matters and handle complex cases.
• Represent the firm at client sites and foster strong client relationships.
• Maintain high-level, ongoing communication with a diverse client base.
• Supervise and lead a team, assign work, train, and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with attorneys; contribute to policy and procedure improvements.
• Participate in hiring and performance reviews for associates and paralegals.
• Lead quality initiatives to uphold consistency in legal work across the firm.
• Support partnership needs and assist as required by the practice.
