Job summary

Southwest Airlines Co. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Corporate Giving Specialist to lead end-to-end support for the CoHeart Relief Fund.

You will manage grant applications, case management, documentation, decisions, and communications with Employees throughout the lifecycle. The role includes coordinating the internal grant review committee, supporting Employee communications and annual fundraising efforts, and leveraging strong communication, empathy, organization and decision-making to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Community Relations, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
• Ability to travel and work weekends/nights.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage Southwest Airlines program activities and events
• Create impactful and inspirational stories to communicate internally and externally
• Lead and execute large-scale programs and events
• Analyze measurable reports and data that support community outreach programs and initiatives
• Coordinate with external agencies and partners to meet goals and objectives
• Ensure Employee & Corporate Giving programs are relevant and meet evolving trends/best practices
• Help identify strategic opportunities to align Employee & Corporate Giving activities with internal Southwest departments
• Identify strategic opportunities, assessing and demonstrating the viability of partnerships and/or activity to determine appropriate action; and overseeing the launch of associated events
• May perform other job duties as directed by Executive Leadership
