Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst to support debt and lease management, prepare SEC filings, and develop financing analyses.

This role requires strong financial acumen, experience with amortization schedules, and proficiency in Excel. The position reports to Corporate Finance and offers a salary range aligned with the posted hiring ranges, plus a comprehensive benefits package and telecommuting up to 40% for flexible work

Qualifications

• BS/BA Finance, Accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Eight (8) or more years (or equivalent combination of experience and education). Note: Senior Corporate Finance Analyst; others at I/II/III grades with less experience will be hired accordingly.
• Working knowledge of finance techniques including amortization schedules, interest calculation and present value.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to perform detailed work with high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts desired.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of debt documents, including credit agreements, offering documents, bond documents, SEC documents, and filings.
• Prepare analysis of financing alternatives, buy vs. lease analysis, asset liability management and other financial analysis as required.
• Assist with preparation and development of presentations for investment banks, banks, lenders, rating agencies and others.
• Assist with maintaining records of financing and related activities.
• Maintain economic and statistical information and produce reports as needed.
• Assist with processing of interest, principal, and lease payments.
• Maintain records related to loan contracts including interest accruals and amortization schedules and prepare journal entries and vouchers.
• Establish and maintain procedures for loans, leases and debt including SOX controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and weekly cash flow projections for the debt/lease function.
• Maintain contacts with financial institutions and governmental agencies to facilitate debt/lease arrangements.
• Assist in administration of corporate card program.
• Document all procedures with flowcharts.
• Back up team members as needed including cash management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
